Revisit Your Contractor Marketing Efforts Regularly


Congratulations! By following these tips, you’ve created a Marketing practice for your business that will help you grow, thrive, and prosper. Now that you’ve put in the work, though, you can’t just let the engine run all by itself.

Continue to evaluate your plan regularly. Even if you only answer to yourself, prove the worth of your plan by using your tools’ reporting functions. Your CRM can help with reporting, as can Facebook Ad Manager, and your social media solution.

What are you looking for in these reports. It'd be fantastic if you could see a dramatic “up and to the right” movement month over month, but remember: this is a marathon and not a sprint.

What you’re looking for is incremental growth. If you’re starting with essentially nothing, be sure that your efforts are paying off a little more this month than they did last month, and so on.

Don’t worry too much about a brief dip in performance. Not every piece of your Marketing engine will fire on all cylinders, all the time. 

It’s important to ask the right questions when reviewing your efforts. Are you doing better than last month? Have you spent more money? Less? Remaining curious about performance is the first step to enhancing it.
